My Giveaway

Currently I’m working on a novellette called “My Vampire Master: The Introduction (Part One).”

About My Vampire Master

My_Vampire_MasterWhen I became a vampire, I had to learn how to become a skilled killer.

But before that… I had to learn how to submit to my vampire master.  If I survived the tests given to me, then my training would begin.

Sometimes Becoming a Vampire Means Learning How to Submit

Here’s a snippet from Chapter 1. Please note this is for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY.

Day One

“My apologies, sir.  I shouldn’t have said that.  May I call you Sir?”

From across the room, he politely smiled at me and I caught a glimpse of his fangs.  It sent shivers down my spine.

“You will call me Master until I tell you otherwise.”

I nodded, already ashamed of my arrogance.  This vampire meant business.

His movements blurred before me until I caught sight of where he was moving.  His wavy brown hair whirled around his face as his long, lean form arrived within inches from mine on the couch.  I froze and simply watched to see what he’d do next.  His hair remained disheveled amid his face, falling in his eyes.  I wanted to lean over and tuck each strand behind his ears, so I could discover the color of his eyes.  Please be brown, I thought.

Finally he sighed loudly and took his hand to brush it away.  In one swift gesture, the same one of grace and virility he had used to sit near me, he smoothed back his curls.  “You’re a child of Marcus, aren’t you?”

“I’m sorry, Master.  I feel like an idiot.  Clearly I got off on the wrong foot with you.  I was under a few misconceptions about what goes on her.  I shouldn’t have snapped at you.  Please forgive me.”

He chuckled, but immediately leaned in and brushed his hand across my breast.  A sizzle of electricity sliced into my heart as he twirled his finger around my nipple.  His long bangs he had combed back fell again in his face and he smiled at me, letting his fangs surface.  Brown eyes.  My fate was sealed.

A wave of anger seized me and I wanted to crush his neck, despite the dark passion radiating behind his gorgeous chocolate-brown eyes.

“It’s going to be a lot like this,” he whispered, tracing his fingers to the tip of my chin.

I raised it upwards like I had been commanded to do so.

“If you can control the sexual admiration you have for me, and I know you can, then you will graduate.  If you fail, you’ll be destroyed.”

I swallowed hard and then let out a long sigh directly in his face.  “I’m sorry.”  I stood up to leave.  There was no way I was going to be able to keep my hands off my vampire master.  “I’ll just have to face the sun then.”

He threw back his head and let out a great peel of laughter.  “Indeed you are a child of Marcus.  Don’t worry.  I haven’t lost one of his yet.  We’ll talk tomorrow night.  Shall I show you to your rooms?”

Test Number 2.

I seriously considered taking my master up on his offer and figuring out a way to assault him in my bedroom the first opportunity I could.  Instead I cordially declined.  “I can find it myself or ask someone.  Thank you.”

A delightfully devilish grin crossed his face as he tucked a curl of hair behind his ear.  “I’ll see you tomorrow then.”

  4. A heartbreaker is someone who doesn’t know how good looking and special he really is. He is the guy that doesn’t realize that his actions have broken your heart….But, when he does realize it, he takes immediate action to convince you he really does love you. And you love every minute of it. 🙂
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

  5. OMG I have to have this book if the first chapter left me wanting more

  6. We all want to love a Heartbreaker. Maybe its because of his chiseled good looks, his bad boy attitude, or the mysterious nature of him. Some Heartbreakers are just that, they know what they got and how to use it to get what they want. Then there are those Heartbreakers that don’t even realize that they are doing it. The best part about a Heartbreaker is that there is always a woman that turns their world upside down until they realize it is love. I have read many Romance Novels over the years and have run into many memorable Heartbreakers and my favorites are usually the ones that don’t even know they are Heartbreakers! Some of my personal favorite Heartbreakers are :

Kade Jamenson (Werewolf) from An Alpha’s Path. Kade is a sexy werewolf that will make you burn but a mishap with a potential mate makes him not think he will find love.

Ian MacPhie (Vampire) from All I Want For Christmas is a Vampire. Ian is a heartbreaking Highland Vampire that was frozen in his immortality when he was only 15. With the help of his friend he is given a drug that helps him age to 28 so he could look like a man instead of a child after hundreds of years. He has no idea that he looks of a warrior and the lover.

Lothaire Daciano (Vampire) from Lothaire. Lothaire is definitely a heartbreaker and his cocky attitude proves it! Thinks he’s a gift to women! Its just the sucker punch from a woman he doesn’t realize is his equal that brings him down a notch.

Marius Parker from His Contrary Bride. Marius is every part the gentlemen but doesn’t realize he could also easily be the rogue!

Benjamin Gateway from To Win His Wayward Wife. Benjamin doesn’t realize that he is a heartbreaker because the one woman he loved, he lost….or did he?

Fury North (Human with Canine DNA) from Fury and Valiant North (Human with Feline DNA) from Valiant. Fury and Valiant are strong New Species and gorgeous to boot, but because they are damaged they doesn’t think they can hold onto to the women they love.

Sigimor Cameron from Highland Conqueror. Sigimor is every bit the Highland Laird and warrior but can he hold onto to the beautiful English lady?

Joshua Striker (Werewolf) from Alexandra’s Legacy. Joshua is a scared and battle hard enforcer for his pack and he thinks that he doesn’t have what it takes to make the women melt.

  7. Thanks for the giveaway and participating in the hop!
I think that Christian Grey from “50 Shades of Grey” is a good example of a heartbreaker. He used and abused Ana at first, but then came to his senses by book two.

  8. For me the heartbreaker is a bad boy who goes kicking and screaming into love! When he falls he falls hard!

The only heartbreakers I have encountered are literary! And my all time fav is Mr Darcy! Although, I am currently crushing on Zadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood!

  30. I think our heartbreakers and heartthrobs are one in the same often. They often start out as the bad boy heartbreaker and become the heartthrob that we root for when they find that specific women who knows how to teach him to be loved. I love the damaged tortured heartbreakers who come with a past that makes them who they are. Thanks for the fun stop on the blog hop and I am looking forward to reading My Vampire Master. sbereza22(at)gmail(dot)com
